MR. RICHARD NDUKA CHUKWUOCHA LL.B (HONS) UNN, B.L.
Mr. Chukwuocha is one of the Founding Partners of the firm. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Nigeria where he graduated in 1998 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar. His expertise in the legal field include corporate and commercial law, oil and gas, admiralty/maritime, labour/employment, telecommunication, capital market, banking, insolvency, aviation, etc. He is a legal representative to multinational oil and gas companies, lenders and investors in the petroleum industry, shipping, banking, telecommunications and financial sectors. His work experience with top notch law firms in Nigeria has garnered him vast experience in civil and criminal litigation, debt recovery and restructuring, syndicated lending, secured transaction, foreign investment laws, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, arbitration, taxation and aviation laws. He has been involved in major financing and re-financing agreements including loan agreements, escrow agreements, common terms agreements, indemnities, etc. He has participated in several due diligence audits of the litigation portfolios of companies targeted for investments and acquisitions by local and foreign banks and companies in other sectors. Mr. Chukwuocha has participated in a number of arbitrations in Nigeria and London for several petroleum explration and production companies. Prior to setting up RichardDenning LP, Mr. Chukwuocha worked in the esteemed chambers of Mr. O.C.J. Okocha (S.A.N) and Udo Udoma & Belo_Osagie. He is a member of the International Bar Association and Nigerian Bar Association.
MR. OLUGBENGA OJO L.L.B (HONS) OAU, LLM (LAGOS).
Mr. Ojo graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1989 and was thereafter called to the Nigerian Bar. He obtained a Masters degree from the University of Lagos in 1995. Mr. Ojo provides advice in maritime, aviation, employment and energy matters, and his expertise includes advising multinationals on oil and gas and environmental matters. He also advises on the provision, manning and maintenance of vessels, cabotage issues, telecommunications, construction, administrative and constitutional laws. Mr. Ojo is a distinguished corporate and commercial law practitioner and litigator who has severally appeared for local and multinational companies in the superior courts of Nigeria. Mr. Ojo’s practice spans three decades. He joined the firm of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie in 1996, and rose to the position of a Managing Associate before resigning his appointment in 2014. Mr. Ojo is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria Branch, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and International Bar Association.
MRS. EMILIA OGUGUA CHUKWUOCHA LLB. (HONS) UNN, LL.B, B.L, B.A.

Mrs. Chukwuocha graduated from the University of Nigeria in 2005, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006. Mrs. Chukwuocha also, holds a B.A. in English language and Masters (M.ed) in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos. Before foraging into law, Mrs. Chukwuocha worked and retired from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund as a senior manager. She brings her wealth of experience in public service to bear in her legal practice.  She is an astute litigator and negotiator.  

IMABONG UKPONG L.L.B (HONS) CAL, BL.

Miss Ukpong graduated from the University of Calabar in 2011 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012.  Prior to joining RichardDenning LP, Miss Ukpong worked with Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, and thereafter consulted for Standard Chartered Bank. Miss Ukpong works in the firm’s banking and finance department.

MR. EMEKA SYLVESTER OKWUOSA (B.SC) ABSU.

Mr. Emeka Okwuosa obtained a bachelor of science degree (B.SC) in Government and Public Administration in 2004 from Abia State University, Uturu, Okigwe, Abia State.
Mr. Okwuosa develops automation to insure delivery of high quality legal service. He also manages and coordinates the human resources functions of the administrative support staff.
Prior to joining our law firm, Mr Okwuosa was a Marketing Executive at a trading company in Dubai, United Arab Emirate.
